Chile bus crash kills 12 American tourists

SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) - A bus carrying cruise ship tourists plunged off a highway in northern Chile and tumbled 300 feet down a mountainside Wednesday, killing 12 Americans, U.S. and Chilean officials said.
 
American jailed in deadly Bolivia bombings

Peru waterfall one of world's highest

LIMA, Peru (AP) - A German explorer says he's found one of the world's highest waterfalls in Peru's isolated northern jungle. Stefan Ziemendorff on Monday led a local television camera crew to the falls, which he says he found in 2002 in the Department of Amazonas, about 400 miles north of the capital, Lima.
