Mexicans march to support abortion law

MEXICO CITY (AP) - Several thousand women marched through the Mexican capital in support of a bill to legalize abortion in the first three months of pregnancy, a proposal that has drawn harsh criticism from the Roman Catholic Church.

Terror detainee faces less than 20 years

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (AP) - The prosecution will seek a sentence of "substantially less" than 20 years for Australian David Hicks, a Guantanamo detainee who pleaded guilty to a terrorism-related charge this week, the chief prosecutor for the military tribunals said Thursday.
