LIMA, Peru (AP) - A backpack containing dynamite and nails exploded during a celebration in a southern Peruvian market, killing six people and wounding 48, police said Saturday.

CAP-HAITIEN, Haiti (AP) - The remains of dozens of Haitian migrants who died when their boat capsized off the Turks and Caicos Islands were returned to their homeland Saturday and buried in a common grave, angering relatives who were not given a chance to identify their loved ones.

CANCITA, Mexico (AP) - Since they joined their deported parents in Mexico, 7-year-old Adriana has stopped screaming "Papa!" in her sleep and 10-year-old Yadira's asthma has eased. Pedro, 15, doesn't break into tears anymore, and Adrian, 12, thinks of his new life as an adventure.
