Bolivia leader claims assassination attempt

LA PAZ, Bolivia (AP) - Leftist President Evo Morales said Tuesday the U.S. government had organized groups to kill him and said he believed Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's assertion that Washington was preparing to overthrow his administration.
