Costa Rica breaks relations with Taiwan

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (AP) - President Oscar Arias announced Wednesday that Costa Rica has broken diplomatic ties with Taiwan and established relations with China, delivering a blow to the Asian island's fragile international standing.
