Hurricane Dennis grows, kills 5 in Haiti

MORANT BAY, Jamaica (AP) - A bridge collapsed into a river swollen by Hurricane Dennis' fierce winds and rain, killing at least four people in southwestern Haiti on Thursday as the strengthening storm lashed Caribbean coastlines.
 
Detainees won't be told of bombings

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (AP) - Some 520 terror suspects imprisoned here will not be told about the bombings that killed at least 37 people and wounded about 700 in London on Thursday, the commander of the detention camp said.

LES CAYES, Haiti (AP) - Hurricane Dennis flooded roads in Haiti and threatened a direct hit on Jamaica, pushing oil prices sharply higher Wednesday and becoming the second storm to threaten petroleum output in the Gulf of Mexico.
