UNITED NATIONS (AP) - Cuba's foreign minister launched a blistering attack on President Bush at a U.N. General Assembly meeting Wednesday, a day after the U.S. leader spoke of a Cuba no longer ruled by Fidel Castro.

Uribe cautious on talks to free captives

NEW YORK (AP) - Colombian President Alvaro Uribe said Wednesday he was grateful Venezuela's leader is seeking to win the release of three Americans and other hostages in Colombia, but seemed cautious about raising hopes on the negotiations with leftist rebels.
