Fujimori defies warrant and flies to Chile

SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) - Fugitive former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori defied an international arrest warrant Sunday and flew to Chile, saying he intends to return to Peru and again seek its top office.

Colombian police seize 2.6 tons of cocaine

BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) - Police on Saturday seized more than 2 tons of cocaine hidden on a beach on the Caribbean coast and arrested five suspected traffickers who were apparently preparing to load the drugs aboard a speedboat bound for Central America or Mexico.

Leaders fail to agree on free trade talks
