Venezuelan lawmakers say plot foiled

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - Lawmakers allied with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said Thursday that authorities had foiled a plot by government opponents and the CIA to overthrow the government. The United States rejected the allegations.
