Rebels kill 14 soldiers in Colombia

BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) - Leftist rebels ambushed an army patrol in southern Colombia Saturday and killed 14 soldiers from a unit that rushed to the area after being warned of a possible guerrilla takeover of a remote hamlet, the army said.
 
Purported 'King of Ecstasy' arrested

SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) - An Israeli man known as the "King of Ecstasy" and alleged to be one of the world's foremost traffickers of the drug was arrested Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, police said.
