U.S. pushing for more N. Korea sanctions

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - The United States expressed concern Thursday that the U.N. committee monitoring sanctions against North Korea has not adopted amendments proposed by the U.S. and others that would add new equipment, goods and technology to a list of banned items.

Japan, Europe pledge greater cooperation

NATO, Pakistani army battle militants
