Eight killed, 20 injured in Nepal violence

KATMANDU, Nepal (AP) - At least two soldiers and six communist guerrillas died in firefights and suspected rebels bombed a half dozen targets, injuring 20 people, on the eve of an 11-day nationwide general strike that began Saturday, officials said.
