Nepal celebrates cutting of king's power

KATMANDU, Nepal (AP) - Cheering Nepalese held rallies in several cities and towns on Friday to celebrate Parliament's vote to dramatically cut King Gyanendra's powers and turn him into a figurehead leader. The government declared the day a public holiday.
 
150 fishermen missing after Asia typhoon

HANOI, Vietnam (AP) - At least 150 Vietnamese fishermen were missing at sea and another 28 were found dead after their boats presumably sank during Typhoon Chanchu, a border official said Friday.
