BEIJING (AP) - A chemical spill in a northwestern Chinese river polluted a reservoir serving at least 100,000 residents for two days until water quality returned to normal Sunday, local officials said.
 
Renegade tribal head killed in Pakistan

QUETTA, Pakistan (AP) - Security forces Saturday killed an anti-government Baluch tribal leader and at least 24 suspected rebel supporters in a blow to a long-running ethnic resistance movement, government and security officials said. At least five security forces also died.
