NEW DELHI (AP) - The Indian government stripped its foreign minister of his responsibilities Monday over accusations he profited from corruption in the U.N. oil-for-food program in Iraq, making him the first political casualty of a report accusing thousands of colluding with Saddam Hussein's regime to bilk the humanitarian effort.
 
U.S. papers adding Japanese-style comics

27 workers killed in China mine accident

BEIJING (AP) - A cave-in at a gypsum mine in northern China killed 27 workers and trapped 20 others, the official Xinhua News Agency reported Monday. The mine collapse occurred Sunday evening in Xingtai, a city in Hebei province, and affected two other nearby mines, the agency said.
