Suicide bomber kills American, 2 Afghans

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AP) - A suicide bomber walked up to a group of security contractors in southern Afghanistan on Wednesday and blew himself up, killing one American and two Afghans, a NATO official and witnesses said.

Pakistan willing to drop Kashmir claim

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) - President Gen. Pervez Musharraf said Tuesday that Pakistan is willing to give up its claim to Kashmir if India reciprocates and agrees to self-governance in the disputed Himalayan region that they have fought over for decades.
