Slovenian president promotes Sudan peace

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - Slovenia's president carried a peace initiative for Sudan's troubled Darfur region to the U.N. Wednesday, calling for an international peace conference and urging individual citizens to pressure their governments to take action.
