U.S. pushes for Sudan peacekeepers

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - The United States said Friday it is pushing for quick approval of a U.N. peacekeeping force in Sudan's conflict-wracked Darfur region and wants backing from the African Union, whose troops are now deployed there.
