Liberia suspends acting police chief

MONROVIA, Liberia (AP) - Liberia suspended its acting police chief because five Russian rape suspects left the country. Alfred Karlay, who has only held the post for two weeks, confirmed Tuesday night that he received a letter from the acting justice minister suspending him for a month.
