Iran called on to resume nuclear talks

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her counterparts from Australia and Japan urged Iran on Saturday to suspend all uranium enrichment activities and resume negotiations over its disputed nuclear program.

Liberia seeks handover of Taylor to court

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf said Friday she wants ex-president Charles Taylor handed over to a war crimes tribunal for prosecution for his role in Sierra Leone's civil war, with the agreement of African leaders.
