Zimbabwe warns envoys of expulsions

HARARE, Zimbabwe (AP) - Zimbabwe's foreign minister warned a group of Western diplomats Monday that the government would not hesitate to expel them if they gave support to the opposition, and the U.S. ambassador walked out of the meeting, envoys said.

3 kidnapped in southeastern Nigeria

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) - Two Asians and one Nigerian were kidnapped in southeastern Nigeria over the weekend, police officials said Monday, raising fears that abductions once concentrated in the country's volatile but oil-rich south are spreading.
