JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (AP) - The U.S. ambassador to Zimbabwe said Tuesday that opposition to President Robert Mugabe has reached a tipping point because the people no longer fear the regime and believe they have nothing left to lose.
 
65 die when truck overturns in Guinea

CONAKRY, Guinea (AP) - An overloaded truck overturned while crossing a bridge, sending people, bags of cement and sacks of rice into the river below and killing as many as 65 people, state radio reported Tuesday.
 
U.N.: Beef-up Darfur peacekeeping force

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - The United Nations will never accept a rejection from Sudan's president to a strong peacekeeping operation in Darfur because the conflict is hurting millions of people in the region, the U.N. peacekeeping chief said Monday.
