8 Ethiopian hostages freed after 52 days

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (AP) - Eight Ethiopians held hostage for 52 days after they were kidnapped along with five European tourists have been released unharmed, government officials said Sunday.

MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) - Insurgents and Ethiopian troops backing Somali government forces fought again in the capital Mogadishu on Sunday, while a human rights group said at least 47 people died _ some caught in crossfire in the previous day's fighting.
