Darfur mission said doomed without aid

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (AP) - Africa's efforts to end the crisis in Sudan's western Darfur region will fail unless donors come up with hundreds of millions of dollars to help buy miliary equipment and other aid for its peacekeeping mission, an African Union official said Wednesday.
