4 jailed journalists released in Sudan

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) - Officials on Wednesday released four journalists arrested last week while they were reporting on a protest of a dam project in northern Sudan, one of the detainees said.

FREETOWN, Sierra Leone (AP) - Three former Sierra Leonean military leaders were found guilty of war crimes Wednesday by a U.N.-backed court _ the first verdicts from the country's civil war and the first convictions in an international court for using child soldiers.
