Ugandan government to begin peace talks

KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) - The government will begin peace talks with rebels next week in the latest attempt to end to a brutal, 19-year civil war in northern Uganda, an official said Monday after its representatives met southern Sudanese leaders who are expected to mediate the talks.
