U.N. appeals for $75M for hungry in Niger

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - United Nations' agencies increased their appeals to a total of $75 million to help 2.5 million people in desperate need of food in Niger. Officials said even more money will be needed to tackle the humanitarian crisis in the west African nation.
