Annan warns Eritrea U.N. may pull troops

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - Secretary-General Kofi Annan warned Eritrea on Monday that if it continues to impede peacekeeping operations the United Nations may pull its troops out of a buffer zone separating the Eritrean and Ethiopian armies.
 
Morocco, Algeria feuding over immigrants

GOULIMINE, Morocco (AP) - African migrants facing deportation on Monday angrily accused Moroccan police of stealing from them, while Algeria rejected Morocco's claims that it was using the immigration drama as a propaganda tool in their decades-long territorial dispute.
