U.N.: Darfur fighting hinders aid

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) - Fighting and insecurity throughout Darfur is hindering food and relief aid to tens of thousands of people and forcing more displaced Sudanese into already crammed refugee camps, the United Nations said Wednesday.

Archbishop predicts Zimbabwe catastrophe

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (AP) - A Zimbabwean archbishop said Wednesday he feared 200,000 of his countrymen could die by early next year because of food shortages he blamed on his government, and called for President Robert Mugabe's ouster.
