Moroccan sought in bombings was recruiter

RABAT, Morocco (AP) - The Moroccan blamed by the Baghdad government for a deadly car bomb attack in Iraq was a top recruiter of foreign fighters, sending militants across the border from Syria and acting as a liaison with European extremists, said a former classmate.

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (AP) - Riot police clashed with dozens of opposition supporters in Ethiopia's capital Tuesday, leaving eight people dead and 43 wounded in renewed protests against disputed elections, the Information Ministry said.
