Chad troops chase rebels into Sudan

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) - Troops from Chad entered Sudan's Darfur region in pursuit of Chadian rebels Friday as the U.N. and humanitarian aid groups prepared to pull some workers out of a key border town, fearing an imminent battle.
 
Somali leader: Peace talks not an option

3 Nigerian hostages taken from Shell

YENAGOA, Nigeria (AP) - Armed men attacked a Royal Dutch Shell PLC oil complex overnight, taking at least three Nigerian hostages, shooting a man and forcing the oil giant to halt 12,000 barrels of production per day, officials said Friday.
