Rice says U.S. would consider meeting Iran

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - The United States has not ruled out talks with Iran about Iraq, but any discussions would not cover Tehran's disputed nuclear program, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Friday.
 
1 missing after remote N.Z. volcano erupts

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - A volcano erupted on a remote New Zealand island Friday, tossing mud, rocks and steam high into the air and prompting the evacuation of conservation workers in the area. One person was missing, officials said.
