Nations await answer to Katrina aid offers

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - Many of the nations offering aid to the United States after Hurricane Katrina _ including India, South Korea, Japan and Germany _ said Wednesday they were still waiting to hear back from Washington on whether their donations had been accepted.
