Deadly car bomb hits U.S. convoy in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A suicide car bomber struck a U.S. convoy waiting at an intersection Tuesday in Baghdad, killing seven people _ including one American soldier _ and wounding more than 90. More than a dozen others died in scattered attacks across the capital.
 
IAEA tries to resolve Iran nuclear crisis

VIENNA, Austria (AP) - Iran's president said Tuesday he will submit new proposals in negotiations over his country's nuclear program but denounced a European offer of aid as an "insult," as the U.N. nuclear agency tried to resolve the crisis without referring Tehran to the Security Council.
 
Palestinian leader urges calm in pullout
