Egypt orders bail of Muslim Brotherhood

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - A high-ranking member of Egypt's largest Islamic group was released Sunday on bail, and eight other jailed members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood also were ordered freed, a security official said.

Sunnis reject Iraq's new constitution

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Iraqi negotiators finished the new constitution Sunday and referred it to the voters but without the endorsement of Sunni Arabs, a major setback for the U.S. strategy to lure Sunnis away from the insurgency and hasten the day U.S. troops can go home.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A Reuters television sound technician was killed and a cameraman was injured Sunday while trying to cover a Baghdad gunbattle involving insurgents and U.S. troops. Police said the men were fired on by American forces.
