Ex-Wis. governor won't run for Senate

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson said Monday he will not run for U.S. Senate this year, leaving Republicans with no clear major challenger to Democratic Sen. Herb Kohl.
