Calif. Dems endorse treasurer for governor

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - The California Democratic Party endorsed state Treasurer Phil Angelides late Saturday as their candidate for governor in the hotly contested primary election to determine who will challenge Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
