Shipping co. to pay $6.5M for oil dumping

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A Singapore shipping company pleaded guilty Wednesday to seven felony charges and must pay $6.5 million in fines after a ship crew dumped oil sludge and oil-contaminated waste into the ocean, federal authorities said.
