Oil prices fall below $75 in Asia

SINGAPORE (AP) - Crude oil prices retreated Monday as traders took mild profit after recent sharp gains, although supply worries linked to Iran continued to support prices after the country insisted its nuclear program was irreversible, days ahead of a U.N. Security Council deadline to cease enriching uranium.

DOHA, Qatar (AP) - OPEC President Edmund Maduabebe Daukoru predicted Sunday that oil prices would fall from their current high of just over $75 a barrel to stabilize in the "upper fifties to lower sixties" as political tensions ease.
