Oxfam calls aid from G-8 inadequate

LONDON (AP) - The world's richest nations have failed to adequately increase aid to the poorest, the aid agency Oxfam said Friday. But debt cancellation has brought real progress to poor countries since Bono and other celebrities led pressure for the write-offs at last year's G-8 summit.
