SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - A group of reporters and their family members whose private telephone records were secretly obtained as part of Hewlett-Packard Co.'s boardroom surveillance scheme sued the technology giant and two former executives Wednesday.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. found a decrease in the worst types of labor violations at foreign factories last year during inspections of nearly 8,900 plants where it buys clothes, toys, shoes and other products.

He stepped down June 30 amid a growing scandal and rising pressure from members of Siemens' supervisory board about his future.
