LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Tuesday. Gold prices fell in Europe.

TOKYO (AP) - The dollar slipped in Asian trading Tuesday, hovering near an eight-month high against the yen, as traders sold the dollar to lock in profits from its recent climb.
