U.S. dollar down against euro, up vs. yen

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) - The U.S. dollar slipped against the euro Wednesday, but rose versus the yen and other major currencies, as traders awaited another rate hike by the Federal Reserve and the U.S. economy expanded faster than expected in the first quarter.

Dollar mixed, gold rises in Europe

LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar rose against most other major currencies in European trading Wednesday, but fell against the euro midday in New York. Gold prices also were up.
