Charge on 'Desperate' actor to be dropped

NEW YORK (AP) - Marijuana possession charges against "Desperate Housewives" teen actor Cody Kasch will be dropped a year from now as long as he doesn't get into any additional trouble, a judge decided Monday.

Cablevision plans entertainment unit

NEW YORK (AP) - The family that controls Cablevision Systems Corp., the country's sixth-largest cable operator, has presented a plan to the company's board that would take it private and create a separate public firm for its entertainment assets, which include Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall.
