'Lost' has puzzling season premiere

NEW YORK (AP) - "Lost" settled a few questions _ sort of _ while posing many more on the premiere of its third season Wednesday. While the ABC mystical adventure series focused on three members (Jack, Kate and Sawyer) of the stranded community, the rest of the group (many unaccounted for after last season's finale) were unseen and unaddressed during the hour.

Tori Spelling, husband expecting baby

NEW YORK (AP) - Tori Spelling and her husband, actor Dean McDermott, are expecting their first child together. The 33-year-old Spelling, daughter of the late producer Aaron Spelling, will give birth in the spring, Spelling's representative, Jill Fritzo, told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Man's lawyer asks Smith for DNA test

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A hearing in a lawsuit brought by a man who claims he fathered Anna Nicole Smith's baby girl was delayed Wednesday but his lawyer used the court setting to urge the former Playboy playmate to return the baby to California for DNA paternity testing.

Peter Falk says he supplied Columbo coat

SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) - Peter Falk, who played the rumpled, crime-solving police lieutenant in the "Columbo" television series starting in 1971 and in made-for-TV movies until 2003, said he was dissatisfied with the stylish clothes laid out for him to consider for the show's debut.
