Novelist/screenwriter Bezzerides dies

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A.I. Bezzerides, a novelist-turned-Hollywood screenwriter best known for post-World War II film noir classics such as "Kiss Me Deadly," "On Dangerous Ground" and "Thieves' Highway," has died. He was 98.
