'X-Men' scores record holiday opening

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The superhero epic "X-Men: The Last Stand" proved magnetic over the Memorial Day weekend, taking in $120.1 million, the biggest opening ever for the holiday weekend.

Jolie and Pitt give to Namibian hospitals

WINDHOEK, Namibia (AP) - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt celebrated the birth of their daughter in Namibia by donating $300,000 to help other babies in this impoverished southern African country, according to a government statement Monday.
