LOS ANGELES (AP) - Never mind the couch-jumping and the depression-dismissing. Tom Cruise is the world's No. 1 star, according to Forbes' annual "Celebrity 100 Power List," which ranks famous folks based on earnings and buzz.

Dustin Hoffman recalls audition

NEW YORK (AP) - Dustin Hoffman is a lucky guy. He got his big break in 1967's "The Graduate" _ despite his audition. In a two-hour edition of Bravo's "Inside the Actors Studio," set to air June 25 (9 p.m EDT), Hoffman recalls the experience: "I went to shake the prop guy's hand and all my subway tokens fell out (of my pocket). And he picked them up and handed them back to me saying, `Here kid, you're gonna need these.'"

Clarification: Baldwin-Kim Basinger story

LOS ANGELES (AP) - In a June 10 story, The Associated Press reported that a judge wants a psychologist to evaluate actor Alec Baldwin to determine whether he is fit to see his 10-year-old daughter more often as part of a custody battle with former wife Kim Basinger.
