Rob Schneider OK after movie set collapse

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) - Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Rob Schneider was taken to a Northern California hospital after collapsing from food poisoning and heat exhaustion during the filming of an upcoming movie.

Tom Hanks into Army's Ranger Hall of Fame

(AP) - Actor Tom Hanks was inducted Thursday as an honorary member of the U.S. Army's Ranger Hall of Fame for his accurate portrayal of a World War II Army Ranger company commander in the movie "Saving Private Ryan" and for his continued commitment to honoring those who served in the war.

Nicolas Cage gives $2M for child soldiers

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Nicolas Cage has donated $2 million to help former child soldiers worldwide. The donation by the Oscar-winning actor will help provide shelters and medical and psychological rehabilitation services, said Larry Cox, executive director of Amnesty International USA.
