SAN DIEGO (AP) - "Spider-Man 3" isn't due until next summer, but about 5,000 fans got an early look at the film Saturday at Comic-Con, the country's largest comic book convention.
 
'Pirates' out-earns predecessor in 17 days

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Johnny Depp and his pirate friends are keeping all the box-office treasure for themselves. Depp's "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" remained the top movie for the third straight weekend, hauling in $35 million and lifting its total to $321.7 million after just 17 days, according to studio estimates Sunday.
 
Will Smith marches against violence

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Will Smith returned to his hometown to participate in a march against violence. The actor and rapper said he wanted to do something about the violence in the city, which had 380 killings in 2005 and appears likely to top that number this year.
 
Kin plan to produce Bruce Lee bio-pic

HONG KONG (AP) - Bruce Lee's family plans to produce a film on the late martial arts star, the first such movie it has actively supervised, the Chinese company making the motion picture said Sunday.
